London Fashion Week: Matthew Williamson A/W14 #Backstage

Hi guys,

how are you all? I hope you’re well and enjoying one of the most exciting time of the year! definitely a grate start of the 2014 with Fashion Week happening all around the Fashion capital, the BAFTA red Capet and also The Brit pop music awards.

I had an opportunity to work as part of the Make-up team backstage at Matthew Williamson AW14 show at London Fashion Week, there are some pictures that I’ve chapter for you guys hope you enjoy it.

Totally Reviewing: NUXE Baume Levres-Lip balm

Winter is around the corner my lips is definitely get more dryer and I am a heaver lipsticks wearer most of the time I attend to go for a matte finish lipstick. I am on a hunt for a good lip balm that moziusing my lips and a perfect based before putting lipstick on.

I came across this NUXE lip balm last month which I was super excited to try, this product definitely have a mix review online but it didn’t stop from buying it and trying it.

NUXE lip balm have quite a heavy texture that it is not like any other lip balm when applying on the lip it give a matte finish to the lip which is perfect for a based before applying lipstick or as a treatment at night before bed.

For some people who like they lip balm to be slightly glossy on the lip then this is not a product for you! NUXE lip balm have a very heavy textuler so better get it out with your finger or a spachelor. When apply definitely dosent give you a mousizuing feel on the lip only until after you leave it on the lips for 10-20 minutes then you could feel the different also it very nice under the lipstick as a prima.

Only need a very small amount of this product, the price is £9.30 for 15g affordable price for high end good quality lip balm.

I would definitely recommend this product for people who dose’nt like the sticky and gloss lip balm and also for people who like to wear matte lipstick. This product is amazing as a based before applying lipstick it help keep the lips looking fabulous and dose’nt let the lipstick set in between the creak, If ya know what I mean 😉

How are you all? Hope you are all well. It definitely been a while since I last posted something on here. I’m so sorry I haven’t forgot about you guys. I’ve been super busy with the new chapter of my life, going through the transition period and it taking up all of my times or may be I should have a better organisation skill 😉

As most of you know that Xmas is just around the corner and it is the best time to find yourself a new and exclusive gift set from pretty much all beauty and perfume brands. For most people sets definitely make it so much more easy to do there Xmas shopping but for me it is the hardest decision to make ever!

Every year whenever I try to do my Xmas shopping early, I try to be organised so I DON’T run around last minute trying to find everyone presents and end up buying Boots 3 for 2 deal. I find myself doing Xmas shopping for myself and knowing that I will definitely like those gift, so I spend 30 days searching for the best Xmas presents for myself and let me tell you ‘ It is the best part of Xmas’ 🙂

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette

Some of you guys might know one of the top sellers from Hourglass is the Ambient Light powder that can be used as a highlighter, bronzer and a finishing powder on top of that foundation. For the holiday season Hourglass brought out this gorgeous palette called ‘Ambient Lighting Palette’ it comes with 2 existing Hourglass ambient light powder and 1 limited edition color. which are Dim Light, Incandescent Light and Radiant Light.

Since I’ve got this palette I have been using it everyday mainly to set my under eyes concealer but each powder definitely gives a different effect on the skin depending where you are and what kind of lighting you are in.

The product is described as: ”Powders capture, diffuse and soften the way light is reflected on skin, brighten the appearance, and conceal imperfections, pores and wrinkles. Unlike traditional powders that use opaque pigments, Ambient utilises “photoluminescent technology”-micron-size,soft-focus particles that refract light and create transparent coverage. Dim Light – the far end on the left hand side of the palette, this is super natural colour with a beige undertone that will suite all fair to medium dark skin tones. It contains a small amount of sparkle that will look beautiful under the candlelight. I love wearing this colour on top of my concealer it gives a gorgeous flawless finish.

Incandescent Light- The middle colour from the palette, this is the fairest colour out of them all. It has a pink undertone which is perfect for that spotlight highlight on the cheek bones. I love wearing this on top of my concealer and on the cheek bones, pairing with a strong contour on the cheeks.

Radiant Light- This is my favorite colour from the palette. Golden undertone which will look amazing on all skin tones, I love wearing this colour under a blusher which will give the skin a golden sheen shining through. It gives the skin that healthy looking glow.

I love the package of this palette super stylish, strong and sleek. Perfect gift for anyone that hasn’t tried Hourglass Ambient powder and it is super convenient for traveling.

I’ve been waiting for this palette for months. 2 years ago Nars brought out a blusher palette in the U.S and I remember that I wanted it so bad I was reaching for it on eBay, amazon and all other websites for it. When I hear that Nars is bringing out another blusher palette it was on top of my Xmas shopping list and I actually called SpaceNK to double check if they have it in stock…crazy right!

In this palette of course it has to contain Nars number 1 seller Orgasm Blusher, Deep throat and Laguna bronzer and also 3 new limited edition colour Goulue, Devotee and Mistinguette.

I LOVE this palette! prefect for my freelance kit and even better for traveling, beautiful color that will work all year round and for any make-up looks.

Another holiday set from Nars is this gorgeous lipstick set ‘NARS GUY BOURDIN FLING’ it come with 2 full size sheet lipstick in Romance Holiday and Damage also came with luxury size lip pencil in Dolce Vita (matte) and Baroque (gloss).

The best part of this set is the Red lip box it definitely is the main reason why I bought this set, I mean I’ve already got all of those lipsticks in my collection but I don’t mind getting the set because I really want the Red lip box…I have a problem!

Very nice gift for anyone and everyone best gift for Make-up lovers and it is quite a reasonable price. The 2 full size lipsticks together cost £37. For the cost of £30 for this set definitely a perfect gift idea.
